Exercise and Wellness Major Requires 4.0 credits
1.0 credit = 42 hours
4.0 credits = 168 hours
Finding an internship is a similar experience to finding a job, and you should follow the same procedures you would when looking for a job.

Internship Criteria
In order for your internship to be approved it must meet all of the following requirements:
- Be related to Exercise and Wellness
- Have an assigned on-site supervisor who is an experienced professional in the industry
- You may not work under the supervision of an immediate family member (spouse, parent, child, sibling, grandparent, aunt, uncle, first cousin, corresponding in-law, or “step” relation)
- You may not intern for any organizations owned or managed by any immediate family members
- You may not intern as a self-on-site supervisor or intern for another student
