Ideal background: Terminal degree in a related discipline; experience teaching, mentoring, facilitating outreach, and collaborating across groups. Funding experience is preferred.

Certification Program Director

- Develop and lead certification- and accreditation-aligned pathways in strength and conditioning and exercise physiology, with initial emphasis on NSCA and ACSM credentials
- Coordinate curriculum alignment, assessment, experiential learning, professional partnerships, teaching, and student mentoring.
Ideal background: Doctoral degree in exercise science, kinesiology, exercise physiology, or a related field; current NSCA CSCS and/or ACSM EP or CEP certification required.

HALI Research Director

- Build a research program using large datasets from HALI initiatives, including the Strong Youth Project, BYUMove!, YBeFit, and BYU Gerontology/Huntsman World Senior Games
- Teach relevant exercise science courses
- Mentor students
- Coordinate collaborative research
- Seek external funding.
Ideal background: PhD in exercise sciences or a related field; experience in teaching, mentoring, external funding, and organizing collaborative research groups.
