EXSC BYU 150th Extravaganza

Join us for a week of activities celebrating 150 years of BYU with a fun, Exercise Sciences twist!

Day 1: Monday, March 9th - Health Screenings, Fitness Education, & Research Showcase


1-5 PM in the WSC Garden Court


This event provides free health screenings and fitness education for the campus community! EXSC students will conduct screenings and share research connected to the screenings.

Day 2: Tuesday, March 10th - Keynote Speaker


10 AM in RB 267


This event is a formal keynote address given by Dr. Robert Conlee, former dean of the College of Physical Education. Dr. Conlee will reflect on the history, growth, and evolution of the Exercise Sciences program.
NOTE: This event will have limited seating available!

Day 3: Wednesday, March 11th - Q&A Panel


7-8:30 PM in CTB 214


A panel of experienced professional from various fields related to Exercise Sciences will share valuable insights into career paths, leadership, and professional development.

Day 4: Thursday, March 12th - Scavenger Hunt


10:30 AM - 12:30 PM, beginning at the quad between the SFH & RB


Students will be placed into small teams to complete interactive physical and social challenges across campus. Awards will be given to all who attend, including special recognition for winning teams!

Day 5: Friday, March 13th - Catered Dinner


6-7:45 PM in the WSC Terrace


Enjoy a delicious dinner featuring guest speaker Jared Ward, BYU alumnus and Olympian. Dress code is business casual. Please RSVP for this event before March 5th!
